Bosco Constructors, Inc., a Colorado Corporation founded May 30, 1990, is in the business of general contracting. Bosco Constructors, Inc's field of expertise is in heavy civil (water and wastewater treatment), industrial and commercial construction projects. Bosco Constructor's, Inc. breakdown of revenue is 80% public and 20% private work, 80% of the work is constructing water and wastewater facilities and 20% of the work is generic commercial construction primarily industrial facilities. The construction work includes sitework, grading, building construction, extensive piping/plumbing, process equipment installation and sophisticated control systems. The majority of projects are obtained through competitive bidding. The original concept of Bosco Constructors, Inc. was to create a 1st class construction organization that would be known for it quality, safety, budget awareness, timeliness, integrity, and to be an integral part of the construction community. Bosco Constructors Inc. has been in business for over 8 years with each year setting and meeting a new goal. The company has been very successful and is a strong part of the Construction industry in Colorado. Joseph Bosco was born 1948. 1970 he graduated from Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York with a BS in civil engineering. 1970 he was employed by D.W., Winkleman, a highway contractor, Syracuse, New York. 1971-74 served in the United States Army with Post Engineering. 1974-77 was employed by Nalews, Inc. Laconia, New Hampshire. 1977-78 received MS from Stanford University, Palo Alto, California. 1978-79 employed by Hensel Phelps, Greeley, Colorado. 1979-84 employed by Western Empire Constructors, Denver, Colorado. 1984-90 employed by Jennison Construction, Littleton, Colorado. 1990 to present President/CEO of Bosco Constructors, Inc. Joe Bosco has over 28 years experience, qualified in construction management as Construction Manager and Estimator for all phases of construction. Joe has extensive experience in supervising personnel including Project Mangers. Project Superintendents, Field Engineers, Office Engineers, managing subcontractors, and job site estimating, bidding, scheduling, purchasing, contract negotiation and administration. Joe's business philosophy is: "A lot of people can do what we do, but only a few can do it well. We are one of the few." Joe is active in the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors. Currently, Joe is the vice-president of the executive board for that organization. He has been a member since 1996. Joe is also a member of a TEC Group that is an international organization of CEOs dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and enhancing the lives of CEOs. Bosco Constructors, Inc. is currently constructing the Denver International Airport water feature. This is a fountain in the middle of the main terminal building at the airport. The Daily Construction Journal has given this project 1st place in the "Best of 1998" a magazine rating the top construction projects in Colorado. Bosco Constructors, Inc. has been ranked as one of Colorado's Top General Constructors for two consecutive years. Bosco Constructors, Inc. is involved in the Associated Builders and Contractors, a national construction association. Mr. Bosco has been a member since 1996. He has been on the executive committee for the past two years holding the positions of secretary and currently that of vice-president. Also from our company, Mr. Grant Dunkle is on the Legislative committee, and Mr. Brian Beyer is on the Estimating committee. |
