![]() Construction under way at Marston Treatment Plant on West Quincy Avenue in southwest Denver is part of a continuing commitment by Denver Water to keep drinking water clean and safe.

Why Take These Steps Now? Denver Water strives to anticipate conclusions based on health and treatment research. Efforts are made to keep costs and water rates low, but not at the cost of compromising the safety of our treated water and the health of our customers. Improving solids handling at Marston and changing the disinfection point at all of our treatment plants are steps that will put our plants in a position to meet regulations that we foresee being tightened in the future.
